The Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands announced today that it will now offer live video broadcasting of its courtroom events via Livestream.com.
The new venture will afford users the ability to playback and pause videos during live events similarly to DVR functionality. Archived events will also be published in a more efficient and timely manner, according to a press release the High Court issued.
The general public and members of the Virgin Islands Bar are encouraged to follow the Court in session on Livestream by visiting the its livestream portal here, or by cutting and pasting the link: https://www.livestream.com/visupremecourt in the internet browser.
Additionally, by becoming a follower, users will receive email notifications of all live video broadcasts being streamed by the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands. And users will still be able to view live coverage of courtroom events on the Court’s website by visiting http://www.visupremecourt.org/media_services/.
To receive notice of upcoming calendars of cases and other court announcements issued by the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands, the public may sign up online at the Court’s website on the link that says, “SignMeUp” or on Twitter @visupremecourt.
