CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – October 8, 2015 – The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) announces the following:

Public Hearing: A public hearing by the Economic Development Commission is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 9 a.m. at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 620, St. Thomas, USVI; and via video conference feed to the William D. Roebuck Economic Development Park at No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI, on applications regarding tax exemptions submitted by B.D. Specialties Inc. and Island Roads Corporation.

Governing Board Decision Meeting: The decision meeting that was held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 will continue on October 15, 2015 for the Economic Development Commission to resolve compliance matters for Oson VI, LLC. An application matter for Carambola Northwest, LLC, has been also been added for the aforesaid decision meeting. A decision meeting will also be held by the V.I. Economic Development Authority and the Enterprise and Commercial Zone Commission on applications and/or matters which may be brought to the appropriate Board for action. The decision meeting will be held at the aforesaid locations.

All interested persons are notified in accordance with the law. The VIEDA’s Board of Directors and its subsidiary Board(s) may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meetings as provided in Title 1 Virgin Islands Code Section 254(b).
