ST. CROIX — Top Gas Service and Food, widely known as Mountain Gas Station, was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday at about 6:10 p.m., after a gun-wielding man demanded cash from an attendant working at the place of business, located in Estate Diamond, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced today.
Upon officers’ arrival on the scene, the attendant said he was inside his booth when a tall, black man with dreadlocks approached him with a hand gun demanding money. The attendant gave an undetermined amount of cash to the suspect, who immediately fled the area.
The attendant described the suspect as a tall, black male with dreadlocks, who also had a bandage on his hand and wore a brown shirt.
No one was injured during the incident, and the matter is under investigation, according to Mr. Jackson.
