ST. CROIX — The following events and programs are planned at St. Croix district public schools to bring the joy of the holiday season to students, parents and the community, according to a Department of Education press release issued on Thursday:

Friday, December 4th
Alfredo Andrews Elementary School Christmas Tree Lighting Program begins at 9:00 in the school’s lobby.

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School Honor Roll Ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.

Saturday, December 5th

Alexander Henderson Elementary School Choir will open the V.I. Port Authority’s Frederiksted Holiday Fest scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Budhoe Park Grand Stand and the Anne E. Abramson Facility .

Wednesday, December 9th

John H. Woodson Jr. High School Band Annual Christmas Tour begins with a performance at the Ricardo Richards Elementary School at 9:15 a.m., and follow up at Alfredo Andrews Elementary School at 1:00 p.m.

Thursday, December 10th

John H. Woodson Jr. High Band Christmas Tour continues at the Elena Christian Jr. High School at 8:45 a.m. followed by a performance for the residents of the Herbert Grigg Home for the Elderly at 12:15 p.m.

Friday, December 11th

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School Honor Roll Celebration set for 1:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School Kindergarten (Kg) Christmas Showcase scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the school’s auditorium.

Tuesday, December 15th

John H. Woodson Jr. High Spelling Bee scheduled for 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium.

Wednesday, December 16th

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School top spellers to compete in the school’s spelling bee
at 8:45 a.m. in the auditorium.

John H. Woodson Junior High School PTA meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and a Christmas concert follows at 5:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium.

Thursday, December 17th

Alfredo Andrews Elementary School spelling bee set for 9:00 a.m. in the school’s auditorium.

Ricardo Richards Elementary School Culminating Christmas program begins at 1:00 p.m. on the school’s grounds.

Friday, December 18th

Alfredo Andrews Elementary School Christmas program starts at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium.

Ricardo Richards Elementary School Gold Band of Excellence Awards Fun Day kicks off at 9:00 a.m.

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary Winter Dance set to begin at 12:45 p.m.

John H. Woodson Jr. High queen show scheduled.

Monday, December 21st

Miss Pearl B. Larsen Elementary pageant scheduled for 9:00 a.m.

Tuesday, December 22nd

Pearl B. Larsen Elementary Christmas Show begins at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium.
