ST. THOMAS — The Virgin Islands Department of Education has invited 7th and 8th grade students and their parents to special information sessions with representatives from the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (C.T.Y.).
The first session will take place on Tuesday, February 23 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School Auditorium on St. Thomas. Another session will be held on Wednesday, February 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Curriculum Center on St. Croix. Parents and students have the opportunity to learn about CTY’s programs, ask questions, and connect with other families of bright students.
The sessions are FREE and open to 7th and 8th grade public school students only.
C.T.Y. specializes in recognizing and developing students’ academic talents. Qualifying students will gain access to summer and online courses, academic counselors, and family learning adventures, among other benefits.
