ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Department of Education said this morning that the Elena Christian Junior High School will resumes classes this morning. D.O.E. was unable to give clear guidance to parents before this morning, because Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority crews were working through Tuesday night to fix the water pressure issue that had been affecting the school’s water supply.
“W.A.PA. crews successfully installed a new water line overnight to correct the Elena Christian Junior High School’s low pressure problem,” D.O.E. said this morning.
Classes will resume their regular schedule, according to D.O.E. The department said students who missed the school bus would have to be dropped off by their parents.
