“I’m super excited! The speed at which things are moving with my recently released Know Me Now album and Play Me Like Pan video is an overwhelmingly joyous feeling,” said Ms. Brooks via phone interview from Anguilla, where she’s currently rehearsing with her band for the Tempo event.
“Performing on the B.B. King’s stage amongst this lineup doesn’t get any better. I feel so blessed. I’m eternally grateful to my team and Tempo Chairman Frederick Morton Jr., for this opportunity,” she added.
Ms. Brooks’ Play Me Like Pan video hit was major hit on The Consortium and has risen to number 2 on Tempo’s Cross Caribbean Countdown. She will be shooting her next music video while in NY for the title track off her album “Know Me Now”, which will be released on TEMPO and other platforms this summer.
According to the release, the Tempo performance will magnify Brooks’ music and brand notoriety globally as a U.S.V.I.-based female Soca Artist. Her album is currently available on iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.
