ST. THOMAS — A man who was observed on surveillance camera stealing multiple bottles of liquor from St. Thomas bar and restaurant Boogie Woogie, has been arrested and jailed, V.I.P.D. Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman announced Thursday.

According to Ms. Freeman, on June 25 at approximately 11:00 a.m., the owner of Boogie Woogie called the 911 emergency call center and reported that his business had been burglarized.

On Monday, officers gained information that the suspect, Marty Glover, was hiding in the Estate Nadir Hill area, and at approximately 2:00 p.m., while conducting an inspection in the same area, officers made contact Mr. Glover and nabbed him.

The suspect was arrested and charged with third degree burglary. After failing to make bail of $25,000, he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
