St. Thomas Man Dies While Cutting Tree, Police Say

ST. THOMAS — V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced via press release today that a man died on Friday in St. Thomas while he was cutting a tree.

Details remain scant; Mr. Dratte said he would provide more information once available, but the release says the victim, identified as Norberto Garcia Garcia, 59, was possibly electrocuted.

Mr. Garcia Garcia was pronounced dead on the scene and was transported to the morgue.
