Man Arrested For Unauthorized Use Of Gun; Possession Of Stolen Property And Possession Of Ammunition

ST. CROIX — A Williams Delight man was arrested today on unauthorized use of a firearm and possession of ammunition charges, and rearrested on separate charges when police found out that he had in his possession stolen property, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte.

The suspect, Alex Gonzalez, above, who was also charged with failure to report obtaining a firearm brought into the territory, received separate charges of possession of stolen property and possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute, according to Mr. Dratte.

Unable to make bail of $50,000, Mr. Gonzalez was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
