Watch: Scenes From Today’s VI/PR Friendship Parade In Christiansted

Though the turnout for today’s Virgin Islands Puerto Rico Friendship Parade was weak, that did not stop paraders from joyfully tramping down the streets of Christiansted, eventually making their way to the Canegata Ballpark in Gallows Bay, where events were set to continue into Sunday night

We also included a video collage of Friday night’s affair at the Canegata Ballpark, which was part of the weekslong VI/PR celebration leading to a climax on Monday with “Friendship Day” on the Christiansted Boardwalk, beginning at 12:00 p.m. That event will include juggling from DJ Unlimited Sound, a performance from Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights, and a special performance by Rumba Caliente of Puerto Rico.
