St. Croix Arrests: Jan. 13-16

V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced the following arrests that occurred in the St. Croix district from Jan. 13-16.

On January 16 at 4:44 p.m., 35-year-old Marcus A. Gomez was charged and arrested for kidnapping (DV). No bail was set for Mr. Gomez in accordance with the territory’s domestic violence laws, and he was transported to the Golden Grove Detention Facility, pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

On January 16 at 5:00 p.m., Jarixsa Camacho, 24, was charged and arrested for destruction of property (DV), according to police. No Bail was set for Ms. Camacho in accordance with the territory’s domestic violence laws, and she was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Facility, pending her advise-of-rights hearing.

On January 13, 30-year-old Byron O. Donaldo was charged and arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Unable to make bail of $10,000, Mr. Donaldo was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

On January 13, 32-year-old Rasheem Edwards was charged and arrested for second-degree assault. No bail was set for Mr. Edwards, and he was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advise-of-rights hearing, according to Mr. Dratte.

On January 15, Angel Parilla, 20, was charged and arrested for simple assault (DV), according to Mr. Dratte. Mr. Parilla was remanded to the Golden Grove Detention Center pending his advise-of-rights hearing.

According to Mr. Dratte, these arrests were made possible with the help of the community.
