Police Seeking Assistance In Locating ‘Armed And Dangerous’ 19-Year-Old Man In Connection With Homicide Case

ST. CROIX — The V.I.P.D. is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a man who it believes may have been involved in a homicide incident, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte, announced late Saturday.

According to Mr. Dratte, 19-year-old Samuel “Ghost” Roberts, who police believe is armed and dangerous, has been deemed a person of interest in the homicide investigation.

Mr. Roberts is a black male that’s between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and a low haircut, according to police. He is also known to frequent Lorraine Village, Mutual Homes and Estate Tortola — all located in Grove Place, according to police.

The V.I.P.D. is warning residents to steer clear of Mr. Roberts if spotted, as he is believed to be armed and dangerous. Police are also asking that residents immediately call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-7782211 , Crime stoppers at 188 222 tips, or 911, upon spotting Mr. Roberts.
