Police Still On Hunt For Murder Suspect. Have You Seen Samuel ‘Ghost’ Roberts?

Community Center / Crime / Virgin Islands / February 22, 2017

ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a man the force says is wanted in relation to a murder, while warning residents that the suspect is armed and dangerous.

Today’s V.I.P.D. release is the force’s second call to the community for help; earlier this month a similar release was issued about the same suspect.

The suspect is 20-year-old Samuel Roberts, who goes by the moniker, “Ghost”. According to police, Mr. Roberts is a black male between 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He weighs about 150 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and a low haircut.

Mr. Roberts frequents the Lorraine Village, Mutual Homes and Estate Tortola communities — all located in Grove Place, according to police.

Police are asking residents who come into contact with the suspect to call the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-7782211, Crime stoppers USVI where your tip may lead to a payday, or 911.
