In addition to her new role as the medical director, Dr. Hunte-Ceasar will continue to be a provider at the D.O.H.’s CDD clinic. She is also the chairwoman for the Infection Control Department and provides infectious diseases consultations at the Schneider Regional Medical Center (SRMC). Previously, she served as the chief of medicine at SRMC from January 2015 to May 2017. Dr. Hunte-Ceasar is a staff member of the AIDS Education Training Center, in which she provides HIV/AIDS education to local clinicians in the Virgin Islands.
