ST. THOMAS — The Waste Management Authority on Tuesday announced that garbage collection at 16 St. Thomas sites has been delayed due to a mechanical failure with the garbage collection truck.
These locations include the following:
- Behind Weeks Bakery
- Kirwain Terrace Housing Community
- Gladys Abraham Elementary School
- Union Road
- Frenchtown
- Tropical Bins
- Lindberg Bay
- Contant Knolls
- Cancryn Junior High School
- Washington School
- VITEMA
- Department of Property and Procurement
- V.I. Department of Labor
- Department of Education School Lunch program
- Â Department of Public Works Motor Pool
- Department of Planning and Natural Resources
WMA says it’s working tirelessly to resume regular collection hours, and apologized for the inconvenience.
