Two Men Wanted By VIPD For Separate Incidents

ST. CROIX — Police are on the hunt for two men wanted on separate criminal charges, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte announced Thursday.

The first reported incident involved a man named Malachai Francis, who is wanted in a domestic violence case for second-degree assault, according to Mr. Dratte.

Mr. Francis is a black, medium-built male with brown eyes, shoulder-length dreadlocks and a dark complexion. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, according to Mr. Dratte.

Police did not give details on the incident for which Mr. Francis is wanted, but he is said to frequent the Harbor View Housing Apartments, Ruby Rouss Housing Community, and the D. Hamilton Jackson Housing Community.

His age was unknown as of Thursday.

The second incident involved a man named Luis Navarro, 38, also known as “Twin”, who is wanted for first-degree burglary.

Police also did not give details of the incident for which Mr. Navarro is wanted, but he is said to frequent Estate Richmond, Williams Delight and the Harbor View Apartments.

Mr. Navarro is a Hispanic male weighing 155 pounds, has black, long braids, and green/brown eyes, according to police. He stands 5 feet 6 inches tall.

Mr. Navarro was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan shorts and gray sneakers. If you come in contact with Mr. Navarro, police is advising that you approach him with caution, as he’s known to carry a firearm.
