Watch: In Atlanta, A 27-Year-Old Virgin Islander Is Co-Founder Of Establishment Frequented By The Who’s Who

Featured / News / Videos / Virgin Islands / May 28, 2018

TK Petersen, a 27-year-old Virgin Islander from St. Croix living in Atlanta, Georgia, is the co-founder of The Gathering Spot, a near 30,000-foot invite-only membership club that facilitates an array of activities — from events, to hearing parties, conferences, concerts and more much. It took Mr. Petersen and his partner two years from business plan to the point of funding (they managed to raise $3 million) to get to where they currently are. The Gathering Spot has been open for two years, and there are plans for another location in Washington, DC in fall 2018 — which speaks to the success of the current strategy.

The Consortium’s Ernice Gilbert conducted an interview with Mr. Petersen while in Atlanta on Sunday. Watch it below.
