St. Croix’s 2017-18 Soca Monarch Winner Drops Hot New Single ‘Wine And Dip’

Entertainment / News / Videos / Virgin Islands / November 26, 2018

The Marvelus Production Team has produced a new single for International Soca recording artist, Adam O, called “Wine & Dip”, released on Nov. 16. According to a recently issued release, the Soca-Zouk fusion perfectly showcases Adam O’s vocal range and versatility.

Self-composed by Adam O, the single was mixed and mastered by Stadic Music. The new single debuted two weeks ago with a live performance at the VI Reunion event in Atlanta, GA.

Adam O, lead singer of Cool Breeze Band and Brand Ambassador for the VI Lottery, will be following up with several shows scheduled on the U.S mainland and the U.S.V.I, in conjunction with the St. Croix Festival, according to the release. Last year he was crowned “Jumpy” Soca Monarch with his single “Sugar Daddy”. Currently, the Atlanta-based artist, who is originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, is booked for the following dates/locations: Dec 21/Starlight Lounge (St. Croix); Dec 28/Cloud 9 Lounge (St. Croix); Dec 31/Krush Night Club (St. Thomas); Jan 1/Aqua Lounge (St. Croix); Jan 2/Splash Jouvert (St. Croix); Jan 3/Aqua Lounge (St. Croix); Jan 5/Carnival Parade (St. Croix).

Adam O is a Marine Corps veteran who was honorably discharged 2 years ago after serving ten years in the U.S. Military, according to the release. He completed the single while working to complete his FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification. He proudly retired from the military in order to pursue his music career full-time, the release said.

The release dubbed Adam O a Soca warrior, with brains, brawn, and talent ready to battle his way to the top of the charts with his latest single, the first off of his upcoming EP set for a release in February 2019.
