“Winnie Testamark is the right person with the right knowledge and experience to guide the bureau out of its long-standing federal consent decree, and I am excited to announce her as our new director,” Mr. Bryan said.
He added, “She understands the unique issues and has twice visited the territory during her career to provide consulting and guidance on the existing consent decree, accreditation, and other federal compliance matters. We are lucky to have her return home, and I am grateful for her service and look forward to working with her.”
According to the release, Ms. Testamark is a graduate from the National Jail Leadership Command Academy (NJLCA) and also served as a mentor for the NJLCA.
