ST. CROIX — CHOP Bar & Grill, My Girlfriend’s Closet and Cultured Naturals Body Care — all businesses owned by women — were nominated by the St. Croix Chamber of Commerce for Small Business of the Year, with the winner of the category — and all other categories — being announced at the chamber’s Excellence in Business Gala set for March 30 at Gertrude’s Restaurant. The event is set to start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m.

“The gala is the Chamber’s annual premier event to recognize and offer well deserved accolades to all of our member businesses,” said Chamber Chairman Ryan Nelthrop. “We are especially excited about this year’s nominees as they have demonstrated over the last year their willingness to go that extra mile to demonstrate the Chamber’s mission to build a community of caring, optimism and collaborative work for the common good. We invite the general public to share and enjoy this evening with us in support of local businesses.”
