A reorganizing of the 33rd Legislature’s Majority Caucus took place during a Senate session today, thrusting the four-month-old body into disarray, with reports of hurt feelings and irrational actions at the Earl B. Ottley Legislature this afternoon.
Nonetheless, the body was reshaped, with Senators Donna Frett-Gregory and Kenneth Gittens losing the Finance Committee chairmanship and the Senate president position, respectively. Mrs. Frett-Gregory was also booted from her vice Senate president position. Full story here.
