Meet BugZBugs, a prolific and multi-talented Virgin Islands artist, who raps and sings Soca music professionally. BugZBugs, whose given name is Horace Mathew, Jr., is also a college-educated entrepreneur who believes in developing a healthy community. His upcoming community enrichment event, called “Dads and Grads Basketball Tournament” (Set for June 16 at the Fort Frederik Basketball Court and Beach), speaks to the young man’s determination to make a difference.
BugZBugs sat with The Consortium’s Ernice Gilbert Friday night for a wide-ranging interview, where he also performed two songs.
