UPDATE: Update: Makayla has been found, according a V.I.P.D. release issued late Thursday.

ORIGINAL POST (Issued about noon): ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in finding a 15-year-old girl who was last seen on Monday at 8:00 p.m., V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte has announced.

According to police, Makayla Khodra was last seen at her home in Clifton Hill at 8:00 p.m. Monday wearing her Central High School uniform (white polo shirt, maroon skirt and black shoes). Police have designated the incident as a missing/runaway minor.

Makayla is described as a slim, light-skin girl with long black hair and black eyes. Her height was not given, nor was an estimated weight.

If you see Makayla, the V.I.P.D. is asking that you immediately contact police detective Melissa Gilbert of the Juvenile Investigation Bureau at 340-712-6028, or 911.
