Have You Seen Edward Paul, a.k.a. ‘Eggnog’? He’s Wanted By Police For Saturday Morning Murder.

ST. CROIX — Police is asking the community for help in finding a man named Edward Paul, who also goes by the moniker “Eggnog”. Mr. Paul, last seen following a fatal incident at Joanna’s Bar in La Grande Princesse in the wee hours of Saturday morning, is accused by police of shooting to death Carlos Enriquez Diaz.

The shooting death occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte.

After being shot outside the bar, which is located across from Quality Subs in La Grande Princesse, the victim was rushed to the Juan F. Luis Hospital via ambulance, but succumbed to his injuries at the medial facility. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.

Mr. Paul, 42, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 147 pounds and is of a slim build. He has brown eyes, black hair and is of a light complexion, according to a description of the suspect provided by police. He wears glasses at times.

Mr. Paul is known to frequent the Tide Village gas station, the town of Christiansted, Tulipan Welcome and Altona Lagoon.
