The Department of Education on Sunday informed parents of students slated to attend summer programs on Monday, July 1 that all school-based programs will operate as scheduled in the wake of the Anguilla Landfill fire that occurred Sunday morning.
According to emergency personnel in a joint press conference on Sunday evening, the fire posed no immediate threat to public health.
The Department of Education said it will provide updates should there be changes that may affect the safety of students and school personnel.
