Senators Kurt Vialet, Allison DeGazon and Novelle Francis met with taxi drivers at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport in a conference room Monday evening to discuss an upcoming bill sponsored by Mr. Vialet that seeks to mandate credit card as a form of payment for taxi drivers. Another bill that seeks to mandate credit card as a form of payment for businesses with minimum annual gross sales of $50,000 is also being forged. Both measures will be heard next week, according to Mr. Vialet.
