Local Soca artist Adam O will be representing the U.S. Virgin Islands in a benefit concert to be hosted at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida for the people of Bahamas.
The group of islands — mainly Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama, were decimated by Hurricane Dorian, with news reports from Bahamian press putting the staggering death toll at above 2,000 so far. Dorian laid waste to the aforementioned islands after stalling for 48 hrs, unleashing unimaginable havoc.
The event will start at 7:00 p.m. and continue into the night. Artists include Wayne Wonder, Lucky Daye, Cham, Spragga Benz, Red Rat, Cece Teneal, Soul Kamotion, Michael Baisden, Tara Lynne, Pascalli, Footwork and Adam O.
Organizers are requesting that persons bring the following items, all of which will be donated to the people of The Bahamas:
