ST. THOMAS — A woman succumbed to injuries sustained during a hit and run incident on the backstreet in downtown Charlotte Amalie Saturday night, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Karl Caesar made known via release Monday.

According to police, on Saturday at approximately 9:15 p.m., V.I.P.D. officers were notified of the incident, which resulted in the death of 59-year-old Sandra Williams.
