Governor Albert Bryan and Lieutenant Governor Tregenza Roach will be out of the territory next week, Government House has announced.
Mr. Bryan left the territory on Friday and is traveling to Washington, D.C., to attend meetings with a number of federal agencies to discuss numerous issues in the territory, according to Government House.
Mr. Roach left the territory on Friday and is taking personal time, the release said. The release did not make known where the lieutenant governor had traveled to.
In their absence, V.I. Finance Commissioner Kirk Callwood will be the Acting Governor and Senate President Novelle Francis Jr. will be the Acting Lieutenant Governor.
Both the governor and the lieutenant governor will return to the territory on Friday, September 27.
