Three men carjacked a woman who was sitting in her vehicle talking to a friend in the Harbor View Apartments on September 6, the V.I.P.D has revealed.
According to the female car owner, whose name was not released by police, she was sitting in her car with another female having a conversation, when a man approached her window purporting to want to ask her a question. She rolled down the window, only to be confronted by a handgun and ordered to get out of her vehicle. On the other side of the car, another suspect demanded the passenger to get out. There was also a third suspect, the victims said.
Officers recovered the vehicle the following morning at Ha’ Penny beach and no one was injured in the incident.
Information released by police also made known the men’s attire: all wore black clothing with bandannas covering their faces.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
