In recognition of the 2014 National Voter Registration Day, the 2014 Voter EXPO is being held this week across the Territory. The EXPO is part of an ongoing effort to engage the voting public, as mandated by law, and to introduce the new voting machines that will be used for the 2014 General Election.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Members of the public interested in registering to vote are asked to bring the following items:

• Birth Certificate or
• Passport (United States) or
• Military Discharge form (DD214) or
• Naturalization Certificate

WHO WILL BE THERE: St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John District Board of Elections members and volunteers

WHAT TO EXPECT: Free replacement voter identification cards will be issued. Voter registration drive and demonstration of the DS200® and AutoMARK® will be conducted. Community organizations with information will be present. Live music and entertainment.

ST. THOMAS: September 23, 2014—from 11am to 4pm

ST. CROIX: September 27, 2014—from 9am to 3pm

ST. JOHN: September 27, 2014—from noon to 5 pm

WHERE:

ST. THOMAS: Lockhart Shopping Mall (West Parking Lot)

ST. CROIX: Sunny Isles (next to Kmart Appliances)

ST. JOHN: Cruz Bay/Mongoose Junction
