Police Now Issuing Carnival Vendor Permits

The Virgin Islands Police Department is currently issuing Vendor Placement Permits for Crucian Christmas Carnival 2014-2015, now through December 20. Those seeking permits are asked to present their vendor’s license and health card when applying.

Police say vendors outside the main Frederiksted Carnival Village, with the exception of Food Fair vendors on December 30, are required to have a permit in order to operate. In addition, vendors using trucks and vans must have them inspected by the Department of Health before applying for a permit.
