The territory recorded its second homicide on Sunday afternoon, just two days after recording its first.
A man was found shot to death in Ulke Gade Jan. 18 on St. Thomas, according to police spokeswoman, Melody Rames.
Police responded to a 911 dispatch notifying them of the shooting at around 1:38 p.m. Officers identified the victim as a 38-year-old man and confirmed he had been shot several times throughout his body.
The man’s name is being withheld until next of kin has been notified.
Criminal Investigation Bureau officers are investigating the case and ask anyone with information about the case to call detectives or Crime Stoppers VI at 1-800-222-TIPS.
