Due to stormy winter-weather conditions on the East Coast of the United States, Virgin Islands Port Authority’s Executive Director Carlton Dowe has issued a travel update containing the latest information received about the cancellation of flights by major carriers servicing Cyril E. King Airport.

The following are details relative to St. Thomas flights servicing the U.S. East Coast.

United Airlines Flight: 1484

St. Thomas – Newark (EWR): Outbound is cancelled until Jan. 28.

American Airlines Flight: 1275

St. Thomas – New York (JFK): There was no scheduled flight to JFK on Jan. 27. The re-establishment of service to New York (JFK) will be determined as weather permits.

Delta Flight: 400

Delta did not have a scheduled flight to JFK from St. Thomas on Jan. 27.

JetBlue

The St. Thomas to Boston flight was cancelled on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27. However, the carrier expects to resume travel to Boston on Jan. 28.

Passengers are advised to contact their airlines directly for additional updates and scheduling.
