St. Thomas Scheduled Water Service Interruption On Friday Night

Community Center / News / Virgin Islands / January 30, 2015

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority has scheduled water service interruption on St. Thomas from Lindberg Bay to Estate Thomas, beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 through 6 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 31.

The service interruption will come as a result of crews working in the area to replace faulty water valves at the main pumping station. Both high- and low-elevation customers will be affected. Customers east of Raphune Hill will not be affected.

Customers in the work area are urged to store adequate water supplies for use during the service interruption.

For more information, call WAPA’s water distribution department at (340) 775-5873.
