Thrive Chiropractic Donates $3,500 To St. Thomas Family Resource Center

News / Virgin Islands / February 24, 2015

St. Thomas-based Thrive Chiropractic recently donated $3,500 to the Family Resource Center of St. Thomas in an effort to support the organization’s programs that benefit local families.

“It is our commitment to raise public awareness of spinal health on St. Thomas and St. John, while collaborating with Family Resource Center in promoting their mission to end family violence in the Virgin Islands,” Thrive Chiropractic officials said in a statement.

The funds were raised from May to Dec. 2014 through community events and business health presentations where attendees gave donations to help cover the initial examinations for new chiropractic patients.

This year, Thrive Chiropractic will continue its efforts to support the Family Resource Center, with a target of $7,000 planned in donations. The company will hold an April 11 car wash fundraiser.

In March, Thrive Chiropractic will relocate to the Royal Palm Professional Building in Estate Thomas behind Schneider Hospital.
