CHARLOTTE AMALIE – Police on St. Thomas thanked the public for its assistance in locating a 15-year-old girl with a history of running away from home, according to Virgin Islands Police Department spokesman Kevin Jackson.

Kiara Fahie – a Charlotte Amalie High School student – was located and returned to her family this past weekend, and no other details surrounding her disappearance and subsequent location were made available, Jackson said.

Fahie had last been seen on April 13, 2015, when she was dropped off to the Charlotte Amalie High School at about 7:45 a.m. Her family said they had not seen her since then.

Fahie, who has a dark complexion, was wearing the light blue shirt and navy blue skirt that is the Charlotte Amalie High School uniform when she was last seen. She was wearing her braided in corn rows, stands 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs 100 pound
