ST. THOMAS — The Reichhold Center for the Arts will unveil its 2015-2016 season lineup at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, at its annual St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Season Launch celebration, according to a press release the University of the Virgin Islands, which owns Reichhold, issued this afternoon.

The Reichhold Center, in keeping with its mission, is geared up to introduce a lineup that is diverse, captivating, culturally blended and sure to excite the senses.

“Join us for this amazing evening in which we keep the tradition of ‘Celebrating Excellence in the Arts’ alive,” said Reichhold Center Director Denise Humphrey. “This season represents an outstanding lineup that transcends decades of accomplishments, spectacular visuals, and wrapping it all up with familiar rhythms, meant to evoke those nostalgic moments that bring about delight.” Humphrey continued, “This is truly a season with something for everyone.”

For over three decades, the center has stayed committed to the mission of its chief philanthropist and founder Henry H. Reichhold. His mission was to support programs that preserve and enhance the artistic heritage and cultural foundations of the Virgin Islands, the wider Caribbean and the Americas. The center works to enrich the cultural and social life of the University of the Virgin Islands and its community with programs and performances drawn from across the globe that exemplify the best human artistic expression and, in so doing, to be recognized as a center of excellence of the University.

“Reichhold Center’s 37th Season Launch is a great networking opportunity,” said Ian Turnbull, Reichhold Center marketing and sales manager. “Learn how you can be a part of the Reichhold Circle, become a season subscriber, or just come for the complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and a good time.” Look out for special incentives for patrons to take advantage of, like one-time only discounts and special offers, he said.

For more information contact Turnbull at Reichhold Center at [email protected] or (340) 693-1554.
