Update: VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced on Monday, August 24, that Lyn’Nisha Genita Ambrose, who was reported as missing on August 14, has been found by authorities. The minor left her home on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 and hadn’t returned.
Officers of the Juvenile Division thanked the public for its assistance in locating Ambrose.
ORIGINAL STORY (August 14, 2015): ST. THOMAS — The Virgin Islands Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Lyn’Nisha Genita Ambrose, according to press release issued by VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson.
According to the report, Ambrose left her home on Wednesday, August 5 and has not returned. She was last seen on Thursday, August 6, in the area of building 8, in the Tutu Highrise Housing Community, wearing a pair of black pants and a white t-shirt, and is known to frequent Coki Point Beach.
Ambrose has a medium-brown complexion, stands 5’8” and weighs 130lbs.
