Department of Human Services Commissioner Vivian Ebbesen-Fludd has announced via press release the Start of the 2015‑2016 Head Start school year, according to a press release Government House issued on Saturday.

Parents are asked to report with their child in accordance with the following schedule:

Tuesday, September 8, 2015

  • Richmond Head Start Center I & II
  • Anna’s Hope Head Start Center I & II
  • Kingshill Head Start Center I & II
  • Profit Head Start Center I & II
  • Marley Head Start Center
  • Concordia Head Start Center
  • Christiansted Head Start Center I, II, III, IV & V (1-5)

Tuesday, September 8 – 18, 2015

  • Frederiksted Head Start Center one through ten (1-10) will be holding Staggered Sessions and Home Visits. Parents will be contacted by Head Start Program staff to schedule their reporting times.

Monday, September 14, 2015

  • Christiansted Head Start Center Classroom VI

Parents who have not been contacted by the Head Start Program Staff are asked to call Ms. Rosemary Lawrence DHS’ Social Services Manager, Office of Pre-School and Head Start Program at (340) 773-1972 for support or additional information.
