List Of St. Croix Schools Holding Orientation On Tuesday, Sept. 8

ST. CROIX — The Department of Education has revealed via press release the list of schools here holding orientation on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Find them below.

ELEMENTARY
Alexander Henderson
A brief orientation for all students and parents will be held at Alexander Henderson Elementary on September 8 at 8:00am. Students are required to attend before they report to class. Parents/guardians should be prepared to pay $16 for school insurance or provide a copy of their personal insurance. Additionally, PE uniforms will be available for purchase for $25 or $27, depending on size.

JUNIOR HIGH
Arthur A. Richards
Students and parents who did not attend orientation on September 2 at the Arthur A. Richards Junior High School are asked to report for a special assembly at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8. Parents should come prepared to pay all school fees. Following the assembly, class schedules will be distributed and students will proceed to classes. Students without parents will not be given schedules. Students who attended orientation on September 2 are reminded to report to the school’s Library at 7:30 a.m. on September 8 to pick up class schedules before attending classes.

John H. Woodson
The John H. Woodson Junior High School has announced the opening of school for all students on September 8, 2015. All students will report to the auditorium at 7:40 a.m. for a brief welcome and then report to their classes for a full day of instruction. Parents are reminded that the required ID fee is $15 and school insurance may be purchased for $16.

Elena L. Christian
The Elena L. Christian Jr. High School reminds parents and students that classes begin on Tuesday, September 8 at 7:30 a.m. Upon exiting the school buses, students will receive their schedules and proceed to home room/first period. There is a $15 fee for ID cards and a $16 fee for insurance. Elena Christian students, faculty and staff will be housed at the Charles H. Emanuel Elementary school building for the 2015-16 school year.

HIGH SCHOOL
St. Croix Educational Complex
Students and parents who did not attend orientation at the St. Croix Educational Complex on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2 are asked to attend orientation on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:00 a.m. at the school. Those students will receive their class schedules at that time.
