ST. THOMAS — A man was arrested on Thursday for his involvement in the 2013 homicide death of Jumore C. Lewis at Coki Point Beach, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced this afternoon.
According to Jackson, Craig B. King of Anna’s Retreat was arrested for the homicide death of Jumore C. Lewis without incident, after the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands issued a warrant for his arrest.
Lewis was one of two people murdered on the beach in 2013, after a group of individuals became enthralled in a large brawl which led to the firing of shots and downing of Lewis and 35-year-old Akilah Godet. Other victims were shot as well, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
After failing to make bail of $200,000, King was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
