ST. THOMAS — Department of Public Works Commissioner Gustav James has advised motorists here through a press release Government House issued on Wednesday that the Pilgrim’s Terrace Bypass Roadway has been closed to thru traffic but open to residents due to work at the Catherineberg Intersection.
Motorist will not have access to Catherineberg Road (Garden Street) via the intersection until Wednesday, November 11, 2015, according to the release.
Mannassah Roadway (Route 379) adjacent to Sibs Restaurant, will be open for traffic through the Catherineberg intersection leading into Savan. Motorists are asked to exercise caution and look for flagmen and traffic signs as they approach the Catherineberg intersection via the Mannassay Roadway (Route 379).
Commissioner James asks for the community’s cooperation during the time of repair and apologized for any inconvenience that may arise.
