ST. CROIX — A video commercial shoot will be taking place in Christiansted town on Friday evening, according to a press release issued by the Virgin Islands Police Department. The Consortium had previously reported that the activity would happen tonight, because of a mix-up of dates.
In preparation for the event, the VIPD has announced road closures to facilitate the activity, part of a national campaign being produced by Los Angeles, California-based production company Supply and Demand, according to the release.
According to police, parking and traffic is prohibited along Strand Lane, by Kings Alley, on Strand Street, between Strand Lane and Queen Cross Street, and on Queen Cross Street from King Street to the Boardwalk.
Vehicles parked along the above mentioned areas will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense, according to the release. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes as possible, and as directed by VIPD officers during the time of filming.
