ST. CROIX — Police arrested 24-year-old Bianca Emile of Castle Burke last Friday at 11:57 a.m., and charged her with obtaining money by false pretense and fraudulent use of a credit card, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced this afternoon. The warrant was executed by the VIPD’s Economic Crime Unit.

According to Mr. Jackson, the charges stem from the month of May 2015, when Ms. Emile withdrew a total of $1,575 from several automatic teller machines (ATMs) utilizing an ATH card without the permission of the actual cardholder. She was later identified by the cardholder via an ATM surveillance camera.

Unable to make bail of $35,000, Ms. Emile was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advise-of-rights hearing.
