Innovative Announces Successful Realignment Of Channels; Says ESPN News Channels On St. Croix Currently Off Air

Community Center / News / Virgin Islands / January 18, 2016

Innovative Cable TV, through a press release issued late Sunday, announced that it had completed the realignment of channels on St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John districts.

According to the release, on Friday, January 15, Innovative realigned its channels to create uniformity across all three U.S. Virgin Islands, and as a result of this change, some channels were relocated from one package to another.

The new channel lineup is available on Innovative’s website: www.innovative.vi. Customers are also encouraged to use the interactive TV Guide to locate their favorite channels on Innovative Cable TV and view the 25 new channels launched on multiple tiers, including ABC HD on 314 and six other new HD channels, according to the release.

Innovative says the realignment of the channels was a success overall, however, there are a few channels that are experiencing technical difficulties. The following channels are currently off-air on St. Croix:

  • ESPN News SD- Ch. 38
  • ESPN News HD- Ch. 438

OCTV (Ch. 22), Discovery Life (Ch. 325), and Fusion (Ch.337) are on-air but there is currently no program data available on the TV Guide, the release makes known. Innovative says its technical team has been working diligently to address these technical matters, and they anticipate that the problems will be resolved shortly.

New channel line-ups are also available at the Innovative business offices located at Tutu Park on St. Thomas, Estate Diamond on St. Croix and The Marketplace on St. John.

For additional information, customers may also call (340) 779-9999 and speak to one of Innovative’s customer service representatives.
