ST. THOMAS — Governor Kenneth Mapp will travel to the National Governors Association’s (N.G.A.) annual meeting in Washington, D.C. today, a press release Government House issued on Thursday says.
According to the release, each year N.G.A. holds its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. and meetings with federal officials, to include the president and White House staff.
The governor will return to the territory on February 25, with Lt. Governor Osbert Potter serving as the acting governor in his absence.
