Some Residents In Estates Upper Love, Jealousy, Coble and Calquohoun To Experience Power Interruption All Day Tuesday

Community Center / Virgin Islands / March 28, 2016

ST. CROIX — Residents being fed power through the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s feeder 10B — Estates Upper Love, Jealousy, Coble and Calquohoun — will experience power interruption on Tuesday morning between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, W.A.P.A. announced this afternoon.

The interruption, affecting approximately 190 customers, will allow W.A.P.A. crews to transfer primary lines for the aforementioned feeder.  Crews will work in Estates Jealousy and Coble to transfer the lines to relocated poles in order to facilitate a roadway and drainage improvement project along the Midland Road, W.A.P.A. says.

Motorists traversing the areas where work is being performed are asked to follow signs and the flagger’s instructions for the safety of crews, pedestrians and other drivers.

W.A.P.A. says its sorry for any inconvenience caused by this service interruption and ensures customers that every effort will be made to restore electrical service as quickly as possible.
