The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority announces Customer Service hours for Carnival Week as follows:

Wednesday, April 27th (Carnival Food Fair)

                St. Thomas:         Operating Hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)

                St. John:              Operating Hours (8:00 am – NOON)

                St. Croix:             Regular Operating Hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)

 

Thursday, April 28th (J’ouvert)

                St. Thomas:          CLOSED

                St. John:               CLOSED

                St. Croix:              Regular Operating Hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)

 

Friday, April 29th (Children’s Parade Day)

               CLOSED Territory-wide

 

Monday, May 2nd

                St. Thomas:          Regular Operating Hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)

                St. John:               Regular Operation Hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)

                St. Croix:              Regular Operating Hours (7:30 am – 4:00 pm)

 

Customers are reminded that other payment options are available, to include online payments at www.viwapa.vi; placing a check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA business offices or by mail using the envelope included with the billing statement.  To secure a password for online payments, send an email to [email protected].

To report electric service interruptions on St. Thomas/St. John call 774-1424 or on St. Croix call 773-0150. To report water problems call 775-5873 on St. Thomas/St. John or 773-3775 on St. Croix.  Service requests can also be made by clicking on the red button on the home screen at www.viwapa.vi. For other matters, please email [email protected].

The public is asked to drive cautiously during the carnival season to avoid collisions with utility poles which may result in injury, property damage or electric service interruptions. Customers planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 773-0150 on St. Croix.
